Oh the hen do, the last hurrah as a single girl. Whether you are one to indulge in the
hen-do traditions or not it is nice to take the opportunity to get together with your
friends and celebrate.
As you would have seen on the blog of late I am all about occasions where you get to
together with your nearest and dearest, taking the chance to spend time with one another and create some awesome memories.
From classy to down right tacky, hen parties take a variety of forms and the best ones are
the ones which suit the bride down to a tee.
For me, the only direction I gave was that it was in London and involved drinking,
dancing and food. My girls did well and I had the most amazing time.
We started with cocktail making in Revolution bar in East London, which was so much fun, we went up in two’s to try to recreate what we had been shown. And needless to say my girlies love to free-pour and seem to have an aversion to the spirit measure.
My girls also presented me with what has become one of my most treasured items. A photo album featuring photos and messages from them all. I couldn’t read it then and there as my make-up would have been all over my face * not a good look*, so I waited until I got home and had a good old cry. I LOVE my friends!
